Frequently Asked Questions - Modifications

• I want to change the name of the domain owner
• What if I want to change the address, phone and fax numbers of the domain owner?
• How can I check that all the changes have been made?

For security, it is not possible to change the owner's name or its country through our website. You need to ask Gandi to make this change for you.

You will be charged EUR 12 (+ VAT (sales tax) if applicable).

The procedure indicated below was created to protect owner of domains registered with Gandi. For security Gandi will refuse all exceptions and all incomplete records.

The current owner will need to participate, and notably send proofs of its identity.

If you just need to change the country, please use the form available at bottom of our Administration section.

Except name and country, you can change all others parameters of a domain owner through our web interface, Administration section, Change parameters of a domain name.

You can do a whois query through our website. Gandi also sends a notification by email to both owners.
